Cure for infertility has long been sought by a couple who wants to have children. Cridenna from the Reproductive Medicine and Fertility Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado present the finding of their experiments with 114 patients. In some patients who had acupuncture therapy, it is found that there were more pregnancies, fewer miscarriages, and higher birth rate (about 7% of improvement.)
Acupuncture helps women by improving blood circulation to the ovaries and the uterus. That will trigger stronger womb lining and healthier eggs so that the eggs can be carried successfully in the womb. According to Dr. Raymond Chang, the director of New York’s Meridian Medical Group, “Acupuncture provides better circulation and better blood flow to the womb.” Further, he stated that it gives better opportunity for the ovum to be nourished and hence carried by the mother. As a matter of fact, Dr. Raymond Chang is not a newcomer in acupuncture field. He has been practicing acupuncture to cure infertility problems for at least ten years. Additionally, according to Victoria Koos, an acupuncturist at the Yin and Tonic Acupuncture, New York, attempting to get pregnant is very distressing. Acupuncture in this case also helps a woman who undergoes the therapy to be relaxed. The key to a successful therapy is a calm state of mind. Still according to Koos, all our system will function better when the body is relaxed.
