Skin tag removal is necessary for those who have skin tags on their skin. Skin tags can be very embarrassing and uncomfortable although most of them are harmless. They are actually a common condition and can be found all over the body, especially in the areas where the skin rubs against other skin or where clothes rub against the skin, such as the neck, armpit, groin, eyelid, under the breasts for women, and around the genital areas for both men and women. Thankfully, most skin tags are benign, which means that they are not cancerous. There are two ways to get rid of them; you can either undergo medical treatment, or use natural remedies that you can find almost everywhere including your home. Medical treatment costs a lot of money and not everyone can afford it. Besides, drugs or surgery can result in unwanted and unpleasant side effects.

Skin tag removal using home remedies is therefore considered as the best option. They are affordable and widely available. One of the things you can try is, believe it or not, nail polish. Apply the polish onto the skin tags twice a day. Do this until the tags dry out and disappear. A common kitchen ingredient you can use is apple cider vinegar. Soak a cotton ball into the vinegar and dab it on the affected area. Do this for three times a day for approximately two to three weeks. However, do not use apple cider vinegar on sensitive parts of the body such the eyes or genitals. Alternatively, you can mix some baking soda and castor oil until they form a thick paste and gently apply the mixture on the affected area. The paste works by blocking the air supply into the skin tags, causing them to dry out. The natural methods above are indeed effective for skin tag removal.
